In addition to what's been said, the 5 speed kits that are good can include a rear main seal kit. I recommend it if you have rebuilt the engine so that the "crank whip" is gone. Pics look good, that

I only have experience with the Riverside kit, and it does replace the backing plate. The rear oil seal is easy to install and recently Riverside says that the seal works better if turned around. The
