- i see int eh manual for 1980 they had grease plugs for each rear wheel bearing? Anybody find those? are they replaceable with zirc fittings?

- Better still, keep the plugs handy to use in the zerk holes in your universal joints. If you put zerks in the U-Joints, they will either be too short and you won't get a grease gun in there, or too l

- Good advice for the most part. But most of the "plugs" I've ever seen for the rear wheel bearing grease ports have hex-heads about 7/16" across and won't work in the u-joint. --Andy * * * * * * * * *

- Greetings men, If small plugs are unavailable, I use the short zerks as plugs, remove them for the long ones when lubrication is needed, and put the short ones back when I'm finished. Bill Brockschmi

- Hi Dan Yes and Yes. The plugs are at about six o'clock from the shaft and inside of the trunnion, 2" from the back plate from memory. Graham.
