It is probably not the springs. Mine turned out to be the rubber bushings in the A arms. Use a teflon based spray lub, it worked for me on my recent 3,000 mile trip, still no squeak. Also spray the s

1. WD40 is useless in this application. For longer term effect I've used the 'Never Seize' stuff from Penrite. It is like a grease with a high copper content. It is magic stuff. I always had problems
