- Watch some of those spray lithium greases, they use a water base propellent. Water and oil don't mix (except when your head gasket blows) and the grease floats on top of the water. Get yourself some

- A cam and crankshaft specialty shop I used before would give parts back to me sprayed with clean motor oil and then wrapped them in Saranwrap. I don't know if this is the best long term storage solu
