A Falken Azenis Sport is a cheep, grippy, noisy, tire. It's popular because of the cheep and grip part. Nearly as good as a BFG KD, which is about 3x the cost. http://www.falkentire.com/html/products

I haven't noticed temp changes effecting the noise level, but I've found that after about 5000 miles on them they tend to start growing louder. I get a truck tire noise around 20-30 mph. I'm about to
