i'm getting ready to put the studs back in for the intake/exhaust, and i've noticed that the studs are not symmetrical; one side is threaded longer than the other. can someone tell me which way goes

The first one's easyThe short end goes towards the engine, the longer gets the nut. The second one's tougher- I wouldn't, because it's easy enough to do with the motor in the car. I WOULD think about
