- Is it possible there is a vacuum advance issue here? Perhaps the diaphragm is "kaput", a leak in the line or the weights in the "dizzy" are in need of a light lubrication. I am having the same issue

- Check the level of oil in the carb dash pots. When the oil is low I get a stumble from idle as well. I got the new seals to install but am too lazy just yet to repair the slow leak. Cheers! Michael
