If roadsters were meant to be driven in the rain they wouldn't have come with convertible tops :-) (but that won't stop me from driving my MG in any weather!) BTW, this is the other meaning of LBC..

You might try checking the rubber ferrule that the gas filler neck goes thru. This is a common leak spot into the trunk. Cheers: Skip..............

I just replaced the seals around the bolts on my luggage rack. There seem to be two types of rack, one which has a chrome strip against the trunk lid on both sides, which needs a rubber strip to sea

The leak could be via the M.G. badge on the trunk lid. I had this problem on my '71 Midget....a quick squirt with some silcone sealant around the badge retainers under the lid solved the problem. __
