- If you're talking about parts 54-56 in the following diagram: those are the shims for adjusting camber and caster. Don't arbitrarily change those. Let a frame shop do an alignment.

- There should not be any problem with washing out the ball joints and tie rod ends with solvent. I would blow them out with an air gun (remove the zerk fitting) when done. Replace the rubber boots. O
