Hi Joe. The stock front bar is less than 3/4", I think it's 11/16". The first upgrade to a TR6 suspension is the 3/4" bar or for the really serious folks a 7/8" bar. Adding a rear bar with the stock

The bars, properly installed, should make no difference in the absorption of bumps by the suspension. The bars only make the car roll less in cornering transistions. If the bars make the car stiffer,

Does anyone know the diameter of the stock TR6 front anti-sway bar? I'm too lazy to get under the car. I want to improve the handling of my car. I have uprated springs (TRF), a tube shock conversion

The front bar is 5/8". Installing a 3/4" on the rear while retaining the stock front bar is a recipe for serious oversteer. If you plan on adding the rear bar then definitely upgrade the front. Shawn

Absolutely agree with Shawn. You will get a little stiffer ride but sounds like you that with the uprated springs and bushings. Just how aggressive do you intend to get? Ha ha Kind regards, Gary Fuqu

Joe--Anti-roll bar makers generally recommend that the TR6 use a 7/8" front bar with a 3/4" rear bar. If you want to stay with the stock 5/8" front bar, then follow the directions of Kastner in his C
