Greg Petrolati wrote about some engine modifications to his TR4: "I also switched out the stock tappets and got tappets and sleeves from a Ford GT40" Does anybody know if this works on a TR6 engine?

This is a mod that is offered by British Frame & Engine. I don't know if they will fit a TR6 motor. The GT40 tappets are smaller in diameter than the holes in the TR2-4 block so steel sleeves were d

I have a set of high performance Tappets in my TR-6 which came from British Frame & Engine. The rims are little taller than the stock tappets and they have no oil drain hole. I'm told that this batch

I sent off my tappets to Integral Cams for testing. 3 of them were found to be no good. I ordered 3 replacements from Moss- certainly these don't need testing, do they? Does it make a difference if

Given all the stories I've heard of new tappets that are not properly hardened, and the price of failure, I'd sure want to have them tested. Randall == This list supported in part by The Vintage Tri

While you have the motor out and a total rebuild, cutting corners and trying to save a few pennies will end up costing ten fold down the road later on, replace all the valves and start out fresh and
