- since you are using flat top pistons, use the piston upside down to square the rings in the bore with hopes that the tops are squarely machined? using a piston upside down is far easier than right s

- I've seen it done by clamping a fine file in a vice and gripping the ring so that the end gap "clamps" the file, working it back and forth to remove material. Gotta be careful, though. Chris K. /// u

- I bought one of these things on ebay for about 20 bucks. Chuck had also offered me his, but I figured by the time I paid for mailing back and forth... Don't over think this, it is actually alot easie
