I always use Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant on all the studs. Especially good on the thermostat housing studs. I never had a problem removing the nuts and housing after using Anti-Seize. You might wa

I agree with Fred and go one step further. I use anti-seize and teflon tape to stop leaks. It works to stop a/f leaks. I also use it on some of the intake/exhaust studs as some of those studs protrud
