I had this problem, I solved it by re-tapping the holes to a size that Home Depot does have, I think it is 8-32(sorry, I am turning into an O-F). Because these screws had a larger head I was able to

The other problem with doing that is that you have chosen a rather coarase thread for such an application. A better choice, if you must resort to such tactics, would be a 36 tpi. These are available
