- Old and puny!!:) That's OK Tom I had the same thing on my BJ8. I put on latex gloves, grabbed the tightener and tighened the hell out of it--so far it is holding. If not, i'll get an oil cannister st

- If you are inclined to take off the adjuster you can fix it by cleaning up the treads with a wire brush. John

- John, I had the same problem with my wheel, my fix was to remove the wheel and very gently bend each of the fingers inwards. Not much just a touch inwards and I mean a touch! Now it works like a char
