I bought one and one from a Z car, and although the metal part fits fine, the rubber part is about 3/4" to 1" shorter. Does this make that big of a difference? I'd like to use new rubber if possible.

There are a few Nissan tensioners looking like a perfect copy of the U20, but at closer look you will notice that the oil hole is not at the same position! Regards, Chris for http://cgi.ebay.com/ebay

When re-assembling my 1600 I found a small screw with a hole through it from end to end . The only place it looks right is behind the tensioning block. I am assuming the hole is to allow oil to pass
