- More like 'check float valves'. Probably dirt stopping one or both from seating. As a first go disconnect the fuel pump and run the engine till the float bowls empty, then reconnect the pump. The res

- You have a relatively common problem the occurs with HS carbs. One or both of then needle valves has stuck open. Remove the lid of the fuel bowl and inspect the valves. Replace them. Problem solved.
