I have both the clicker type and the beam type torque wrench. I use the beam for critical torquing as it never needs recalibration and you can check the calibration of your clicker with it also. My 2

Two types of torque wrenches: "pull till click", and the beam type. The Beam type does NOT go out of calibration. As long as proper care is taken, it will remain calibrated. The "pull till click" on
