- BTDT I towed a 1500# + trailer with a Dodge Caravan rated for 1000, Tranny went in less than a year. Funny though - the Midget is rated to tow a heavier trailer than the Caravan was. Go figure. Larr

- Front wheel drive vehicles are not rated to tow as much as rear wheel drive vehicles. I would not suggest towing anything heavier than the vehicle rating and would not get close to the rating. I have
