You have to tell U-Haul that you want one for a Ford Escort. If you tell them you want it for a Spridget, they will not rent it to you. It will fit, but just barely. I have not done it, but it has be

I've moved Spridgets on U-Haul trailers w/o any problems. Like Brad said they fit, but just barely, i.e. the inside of the tires will touch the angled part of the rails but that's all. PS Brad are yo

Just rent a 5' x 12' open box trailer with a swing down tailgate. The Bugeye will roll right in there. Wedge a couch cushion between the trailer and the front and rear of the car. Tell the Uhaul guys
