- I definately don't think you want any "float" in the pulley. Last time I replaced the wp it required a grinder to grind a couple of places on the wp housing so the pulley did not rub when fully tight

- I had a similar problem with a replacement waterpump on my TR4. Grinding in the right places on the pump housing did the trick. Actually, I ended up using a file, a bit slower. Jim
