I found that changing the oil in the steering rack was pretty miserable - realize that you're dealing with heavy 90w fluid. I had 90w everywhere. That stuff doesn't clean up from garage flooring very

I don't know if the steering rack oil really needs changed - it doesn't go through heavy use, nor is it subject to contamination. It does leak though, as do most fluids in the MG, so it is prudent to

Can the steering rack oil be topped up by squirting some in by way of the rubber boots? I figure one could loosen one of the boot clamps, and lift the edge up just enough to sneak some kind of oil no
