To get mine into reverse gear without grinding, etc. (and 1st gear as well on my 1st gear non-synchro TR3A gearbox), I snick it into 2nd gear then into revese (or 1st). I never grinds. Don Elliott, 1

I suspect that you have checked such things, but just in case -- Is the clutch releasing all the way? May be dragging, but with synchros in the forward gears, it may go in ok, but with no synchros in
