I've been trying to install a new trunk/boot seal on my Midget but I can never get the lid to close correctly after I put the seal on. The whole boot sticks up 1/4" from the surrounding body. Is the

I had the same problem and, as Nory says, it does get better. Make sure the metal lip that the seal clamps onto is straight, especially behind the hinges. Also, lube the seal with Armor All or Baby O
