The trunk lock on my '69 Sprite works as a catch, but I have no key to it. I read somewhere that it can be dissambled and the tumbler numbers can be used to manufacture a key. I took it apart down to

A good locksmith should be able to make you a key from the number, but if the handle can be had that cheaply... Alternately, maybe someone with the same key number will make one for you. Gerard /// u

Hello bill, a good locksmith can make a key from the lock itself even without the number... i had this done with mine..... turns out it doesn't lock anyway tho.... good luck with yours. -- Best regar

I just went through all this. There's a small pin between the T-handle and the chromed bezel that holds the lock cylinder in place. You may have to disassemble the inside portion of the handle to get

Bill There is a pin on the handle. You have to drive it out, it's pretty small. A trick I use is to stick the ignition key in the lock (once it's out of the handle) and file the pins to fit the key i
