Is there a torque spec for the trunnion nut on the top of the kingpin? I can't find a number in any of my books. Thanks, Rick

NO!! It has to be set with shims. Too tight and you can't steer. Too loose and you have a sloppy front end. There are thin washer like shims under the bronze trunion thrust washer. The original nut w

Very fine sandpaper on the big bronze shim or polish it with a metal polish.
