- I am wondering if the dizzy is off a tooth or the dizzy drive gear is in a tooth off, then the timing when taken off the #1 plug is really being taken off #3 (or whatever) thus giving you a false re

- Yeah, that was my suspicion. But I thought I'd try it anyway, since it is electronic. We tight and all. ;) I've already plugged the vac. port on the rear carb, using one of those red "Help!" packages
