Upper ASCI characters (like the $, #, @ - [no I'm not swearing]) that don't translate properly from some computers. The box gets substtuted for a character it can't find. Gerard -- Please visit Four

Some listers also automatically get the "x-mac creator" thing in the subject line. This could this be a matter of an older Mac that's not quite up to speed with the servers or some other compatabilit

Your mail program is apparently using a font that some of us don't have on our system. That's why we see "little boxes" instead of apostrophe's. Rick
