whats the best method for getting a nice polished shine on my 2.0 valve cover? I've seen some real nice pictures of some list members covers all spanked up!! Is there somewhere I can send it to or is

If you're into DIY, a polishing kit does the trick. The lettering causes some hassle, but little buffers do work. Eastwood is probably the most expensive place to buy the stuff, but they do have it.

Then a good clearcoat is -- You're absolutely right, but when I polished my cam cover and SU piston domes, I didn't put a thing on them and they are still pretty shiny. I do go over them with a rag e
