I wonder whether your problem is vapor lock or fuel starvation. Does it ONLY happen when hot? The fittings on the fuel pump are installed with fiber washers and they crush and gradually become loose.

thanks jarl, R, Mike ao, It is due to heat all right, but if it is a vapor lock or not I=B4m not sure after this. It only occurs after 30 - 50 min. drive in nice weather, but Jarl could be right that
