That was me. After a 5 minute motorway run at 70mph on a 3000 mile 1500 Midget engine the oil pressure light was flickering at about 700 rpm. I understand that this means the oil pressure is only 8p

Hi there, I want to change the engine oil in my `72 Midget. I have no idea what type the previous owner used ( synthetic or mineral and grade) and I wonder what I should go for. Saw the Magnatec ads

We have been running Castrol GTX 20W/50 in all of our vehicles for some time with no failures. Whatever you choose I would recommend changing oil and filter religiously every 3000 miles or 6 months,

Someone else, on this list I think, said he suffered from very low oil pressure with Magnatec, which is 10/40 grade. I would stick to 20/50. PaulH 73 Roadster (HD&H) 75 V8 (DD)
