You can use a 1/2" breaker bar or ratchet. If you want to drain the differential it might take a long time for the oil to drip out. Gus

Try the extension as the ball will push back out of the way! Or ask around for what they call key stock. It's square and comes in 1/2". It can be used with a 1/2" open end wrench or an adjustable. Re
