The inset, or is it offset, is 5" In other words from the hub mounting flange to the inner rim outer edge is 5". I too have a set of these and they do not fit my TR4A so I doubt if they would fit ot

5.5" rims are fine on a TR3A (I have 6" on mine). 165R15 will probably 'look funny' mounted on 5.5" rims, but should work fine. Randall 59 TR3A
