- since you have a 5-speed, all bets are off. The speedo is connected to the tranns, and the Datsun trans has a different speedo drive ratio than the ribcase. You can buy a (somewhat expensive) angle-

- Speedo and tach in a sprite if non-original could be from any number of donor vehicles. For instance.. my brothers MkIII has the speedo & tach of a hillman....imp I think...speedo is nowhere near acc
