Call an autobody paint shop and see if they have dum dum (or it's equivalent). You certainly don't want to use the windshield adhesive. The rubber seal should not adhear to the body, just seal up ag

I believe the main purpose of the reflective surface is just that, for reflecting heat, but after installing a similar kit on a Volvo I once owned, I noticed that I didn't have to wax/polish the hood

I asked in Autozone about adhesive to fix the new bottom windshield rail seal to the car body and they said windshield adhesive was around $25/tube. Is there anything else to be used here, or is this
