Thanks to all those who suggested ways to remove the nuts from the w/s wiper wheel box assy. I borrowed a dremel tool and carefully cut the nuts in two places until I was able to take a screw driver

If you own a Dremmel, cut the nut into thirds using the cutoff wheel. If you are careful, you wont damage the threads. The nuts are soft, so dont use alot of force. The 3 remaining 'arcs' should pop

I also had this problem, and you probably will not like the answer, but here is what I did.. I attached a small cutting disk to my dremel and cut a notch in them all the way through on one side. The

Get a nut cracker. Seriously, nut splitters are available from J. C. Whitney or most auto tool outlets. The nut is well and truly corroded onto the wheelbox. Split it off. A. B. Bonds

Hi Larry - I have found the easiest way to solve this problem without damaging the wheel box or the body sheet metal, is to use a nut splitter. New nuts are available from all the British parts house
