First you've got to make firm decisions about "stock" vs "modified". If you want stock wiring, call Rick @ SS. If you want to do you own design, you can use the materials found in Street Rod Mags. I'

Todd: The important thing to remember with ALL electrical and electronic equipment is to keep the smoke in. Once you let the smoke out of something (particularly a British car) it won't work anymore.
