Planning for the fuel cell in my GT6. I've read the archives but still a few questions: - Is the soft rubber bladder safer than the hard plastic? - I've seen installations where the cell is installed

I would rather have a tightly sealed fuel cell instead of having gasoline being able to exit out of that wimpy but beautiful spring loaded cap. I still have mine on the gT6 even though there is nothi

I personally like the all aluminum Fuel Safe cell in my GT6 better than the steel ATL in my Tr4. Just replaced the ATL because, in part, the box had rusted. Better fitting cap on the FS too. I recall

I have the ATL "Sports Series" and bought a few upgrades including the aluminum box and the fancy dipstick. Don't get the dipstick. It's black hard plastic and when you pull it out, the fuel has alre

Hey, Hey, I got the dipstick too and I love it! And it gets hot in Kansas too. Yes, on some days the fuel evaporates quickly, so look quicker. :-) Okay, so sometimes I check it 2-3 times to be confid

On the subject of vents. We autocross the spitfire some also and the hard jolts back and forth would tend to slosh gas out the vent tube even when we ran it up and looped it a couple of times. Since

I'm using an 8 gallon Fuel Safe cell. Never had a problem with overflow in the vent tube, but then I only run about 4-5 gallons max. The vent hose is one of the clear plastic, nylon braided hoses ava

This would seem to be a perfect application for a vacuum break check valve. There are fuel-proof check valves of this type available, and in operation, they are normally closed until there is a diffe
