I used a Craftsman socket with a small end that steps down. It worked great as a swaging tool. Multiple light taps to move material. Of course you can only do the top. I am sure some will also say to

Jack found some sort of loctite green compound that you could wick into the gap between the tube and the head. Didn't TOTALLY stop the leak but made it better. The craftsman socket method Joe mention

Be careful using the socket to peen the tubes into place with the head on the car. It is easy to shift the tubes downward into the tappet galley. They are not supported on the bottom when the head is
