- I know it's OK for 40" of manifold on a Wright R 2600. For 20 years I have used aviation fuel in my TR3. It is 100 octane low-lead. Is this adequate octane for my 12:1 compression? __________________

- If it's a race car, use race gas. I used to use 100LL avgas when I had a "low" compression engine built to last several races, when I got up above 12:1 I began using real race gas. Currently I use VP
