- Seems as if every time I use Permatex Aviation Cement to soak my rope seals the mess gets worse and worse. Is there a good alternative to Aviation Cement or to the rope seals entirely? I have tried R

- Thanks to all who replied. I asked because we are doing a bottom end rebuild, and Iā??m very worried that if any kind of goo gets down into the ring pack, it will stick the rings. Thanks for the tips
