Jerry: The hole in the arm of the shock has a taper to match the original link. Speedway Motors sells the tapered pins with threads on the other end to go through a Heim joint. Very handy for your re

When I did mine, I drilled out the taper, got a standard size heim joint and some threaded rod with nuts on it to lock it to the heim joint and both sides of the trailing arm. This works really well
