I'm assuming you mean 'anodizing' - oxidizing is easy, just let the parts sit somewhere.  They will oxidize, or rust, on their own. It is possible to anodize aluminum at home, though it is not that

Actually, meant to say black oxide- not a terrific rust preventative, but not bad. However, the traditional process involves caustic salts and is not something i can do at home. Sent from my iPhone _
