- You're lucky I have my BN1 gearbox out. It has one dowel midway between the top left hand bolt hole and the next one down (see attachment). The engine back plate had a 3/8" tapped hole so I screwed

- Yes, David Nock at BCS sells them new. Proper hex head in SS. Ahead4Healeys sells them too, but they are allen socket heads, which is totally not original and not ideal for the application anyway. Go
