The only reason I asked was that this appeared to be a "prototype" leading to the 100S--but not "technically" one of the 52 100S's. It was listed as "1953-55 Austin-Healey Special Test Car/100S Proto

Interesting question as also brought up by the auction house is if you owned this car, to what period would you restore this car if you did? Would it be brought back to the original 1953 or the 1955
