Is it just me or does the steering box oil seal seam very flimsy when compared to the idler arm seal? Is anyone machining the steering box to install a beefier seal? Is it a good idea to do this? If

Are you talking about the little green seal that Moss sells? They're the correct diameters (ID/OD), but thinner than the original-type seal. Apparently, you can stack two of them and get a good seal
