- Interesting, although I'd say a similar car today would actually sell for around $45k. I did the same comparison with the bugeye's price of $1795 and in today's money it would be $15k. I don't know w

- Seeing as the Healey was about the price of Vette, I guess anew Healey would cost in $80K plus range today. I paid $500.00 in 1975 for my car $2260.00 in today's money. I worked a lot of hours to pay

- In 1968 I paid $800 dollars for a 1962 tricarb. After painting a couple of times, rebuilding the engine and redoing the interior (in vinyl) I sold it in 1973 for $3,000. It also had a hard top. John
