- Penrite does a "steering lube". Its not oil nor grease. Something between (like the automatic greaser systems use on heavy duty machinery). Its working ok, and not likely to leak. http://www.penriteo

- I convert the box to accept a modern seal. It involves some machining. At the same time I change the bronze bush and ream it with a very close tolerance, which minimize the play in the steering wheel
