My _guess_ is that it's polycarbonate (aka Lexan) rather than Plexiglas (aka acrylic). They are similar, but Plexiglas is more brittle and easier to break. Bare Lexan scratches easier, but they offer

I agree polycarbonate is probably what you need. I would check with my local full service glass place; they may give you a piece since what you need is essentially a scrap. __________________________
