I had the same proplems witha TR4. It was a worn out relief spring. I changed the spring out for a new one and everything is normal now. I think that the proplem is that the rate of the spring, once

There are not many Triumphs in my neck of the woods. I know of 2 other TR3s, 1 TR4, 2 late Spitfires, a GT6 , 2 TR6s and a real nice TR8. But if I see any of those cars it is one here and one there.
